Ron Rabideau

Ron Rabideau has been a strong advocate, and leader for our Teamster Local
597. With over 25 years of dedicated history with in the working class, has
allowed Ron to drawn on his own experiences in assisting members in receiving
better, and more solid working conditions. Ron's reputation of knowledge, and
determination has led our organization to equaling high results for those we
represent.
Since 1987 Ron has organized and led our local businesses to better wages,
working conditions, and benefits. He takes the time necessary to listen to
the concerns of each member to insure they receive the best representation
around.
Leading many of the more modern day implementations at Teamsters Local 597,
he has set the ground work for better working conditions for years to come.

- 1997 - 1991 Appointed Business Agent 1987 and re-elected in 1987 and
1991
- 1994 - 1994 Appointed Secretary - Treasurer in June 1993. Elected in
1994 - current
- Since 1993 NNEBT Local Trustee
- Served on many boards by appointment of the Governor, Governors advisory
board, Workers Compensation Task Force, Vermont Film Commission
